The ORCHESTRATORS
Colin Sprigg is the composer of the eight movement symphony called The Mulholland Suite for Orchestra. The music tells the story of William Mulholland, one of the most prominent citizens within the history of Los Angeles. Mulholland was an engineer who is credited with the creation of the Los Angeles Aquaduct responsible for the water that allows for today's Los Angeles.
Each of the eight orchestral movements were first composed as piano solos by Colin Sprigg, which served as the foundation for subsequent orchestrations by Colin Sprigg, in collaboration with Norman Ludwin, and Xander Knecht.
